Development Obstacles and Optimization Strategies of Digital Economy Empowering New Quality Productive Forces

With the continuous deepening of the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, the digital economy has become the core driving force for China’s high-quality economic development and the cultivation of new quality productive forces. Led by scientific and technological innovation, new quality productive forces differ from the traditional factor-driven growth model. They are characterized by innovation, high efficiency, green development and integration, serving as a key support for building a modern economic system and advancing Chinese modernization in the new era. With the multiple advantages of data factors, digital technologies, platform organization and intelligent scenarios, the digital economy comprehensively reshapes the traditional productive force system from the perspectives of factor structure, industrial form, production organization and innovation mechanism, providing crucial support for the cultivation of new quality productive forces. However, the empowerment process remains in an in-depth transformation stage, confronted with practical obstacles including imperfect market-oriented mechanisms for data factors, insufficient integration of digital and real economies, weak independent innovation capacity of core digital technologies, and lagging digital governance systems, which restrict the full release of digital empowerment effects. Accordingly, this paper systematically expounds the practical value of the digital economy empowering new quality productive forces, analyzes current development bottlenecks, and proposes systematic optimization strategies from four dimensions including factor reform, industrial integration, technological innovation and governance optimization. It aims to continuously release the multiplier empowerment effect of the digital economy and promote the high-quality and steady development of new quality productive forces.References
